Parsons x Flying Solo Fashion Award is offered to one selected designer from the graduating BA, Masters program or recent graduates.  Application will close on July 31st 2020 and the winner will be announced by August 15th 2020. Flying Solo sponsors the awards by providing the winner a no-fee NYFW show and 3-months of dedicated retail space in their flagship store, located at 382 West Broadway Street in the heart of SoHo, NYC where the winner will be exposed to the industry at first hand.

The panelist from Flying Solo consist of a talented community of established, independent designers. They will review all applications and select a winner based on creativity, industry standards and how well the collection compliments Flying Solo’s well-established aesthetic.

This is the third time Flying Solo is participating in the Parsons Fashion Awards. Last season the award was granted to ELIAS GURROLA.

REQUIREMENTS: 

- 18+ in age 

- Must be in the graduating class or recent graduate of New School’s Parsons School of Design

- Collection presented must to be in line with Flying Solo aesthetic

- Categories include women’s wear, menswear, accessories and jewelry
